The Avonmouth Railway and A4 Portway road crossing the mouth of the Trym(?) where it flows into the estuary of the River Avon near Sea Mills, Bristol. This is taken from the opposite tow path, now the NCN41 cycleway. The Avon is heavily tidal here, and I caught it in muddy mode.

Comments can be made at this photo's flickr page, here. To leave comments on that page you will require a Yahoo login.

I am currently working on a simpler way of adding comments to this page (and a far less time consuming one for those without a Yahoo login), but for now, use flickr.

What a good find! Love the sailboat on the river bed!

Until quite recently there were a couple of other larger interesting boats (wrecks actually), I think they've been towed away, shame as they made this spot quite atmospheric.

Yes, the Trym. This was a harbour as far back as Roman times.
