I spotted this in the archives and decided it had obvious potential for improvement. I think I got a bit carried away though.

- Layer mask symetrically graduated between the middle of the stadium and ~ 1/2 way into the sky.
-- In the sky, curves used to add contrast in the red and blue channels and bring down exposure
-- In the cityscape, curves used to bring up exposure slightly, and +5 shadows used to bring out details; also, 100% unsharp mask to bring out details of stadium seating
- Mirror image added, exposure reduced, especially in the highlights, with curves
-- blurred and ripple effect added
-- linear graduated layer added, to make bottom darker

I'm impressed - the end result looks terrific, even if its a little fabricated. The original looks fine, but I wouldn't have guessed you could get so much out of it. -- Seen in my contacts' photos. (?)
