How to leave your comment

Comments can be made at this photo's flickr page, here. To leave comments on that page you will require a Yahoo login.

I am currently working on a simpler way of adding comments to this page (and a far less time consuming one for those without a Yahoo login), but for now, use flickr.

Really like the shot!! I see what you mean about the cathedral though. Might be worth cloning it a little to the right to get it centered.

I think you have done so well with the rest that it does not stand out, the guy (OR GIRL) looking at the woman is a gift, the day you take a perfect picture is the day you throw your camera away.

Joe, everything you say about your photographic frustrations really chimes with my own experiences. But I have to say that I really like this shot. Yes the cathedral is slightly off centre, but there are lots of really good things - the perspective, the sky, the people etc. In fact, I'm going to fave it! -- Seen in my contacts' photos. (?)

congrats on this a very well executed example of a classic view, seen on 1-2-3 group if you're frustrated with people, my i offer a suggestion: cheat a bit a blur the guy on photoshop, to make us think it's a slow shutter speed; it will make the people pat of the landscape

I never get tired of this shot. Great mood there and it's very natural, which is what works best for me. >>>seen on 1-2-3 group

"Bit of a cliche shot," perhaps, but the square crop and symmetry do it a great service and really make it stand out from the crowd. The foreboding sky and flit of motion in the lady's hair are just icing. Great shot! Seen in 3-2-1

I had exactly the same problem when I tried a couple of weeks ago. My shots weren't anything like this good, either. Ballsed up or not, it works! -- Seen on your photo stream. (?)
