Tangeman, Steger and McMicken, November 2005. The sky really was that colour, though I increased the contrast slightly to bring out the detail on the clouds and I selected the foreground alone and blacked out some of the distracting detail. This was mostly to correct camera flaws rather than enchance the picture though.

Here is another shot where I played with the levels on the sky a little.

Updates June 18:

I'm trying to get to the original file so I can upload a 3mp version. When I try to open the file on the CD photoshop tells me that a JPEG marker segment is too short -- the file may be truncated or incomplete. The CD has a few minor scratches. Did the burn fail and I didn't notice?

Panic over, for some reason I have two copies of this CD, perhaps the burn failed and I did notice, but didn't throw away the disc.

Full size uploaded, except that I cropped off some of the bottom to make it 3:2 rather than 4:3 ratio.
